Meet Dr. Jacqueline Smith
Dr. Jacqueline Smith grew up right here in Ankeny and has a unique connection to Ankeny Dental Center—she was once a patient here herself! Throughout her adolescence, Dr. Smith received her dental care at this office. Little did she know that years later, she would return to the same practice as a dentist and eventually have the opportunity to carry on its legacy as the owner of Ankeny Dental Center.
Dr. Smith completed her undergraduate studies at Grand View University before earning her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 2020. After graduation, she returned home to Ankeny and joined Ankeny Dental Center in July 2020. In January 2023, she became the owner of the practice following Dr. Stewart’s retirement.
Dr. Smith is a member of the American Dental Association and Iowa Dental Association and is licensed by the Iowa Dental Board. She enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and caring for patients of every age. She values getting to know her patients and strives to create an environment where they feel comfortable, heard, and confident in their dental care.
Outside of the office, Dr. Smith’s favorite role is being a mom to her daughter. She loves spending time with her family, whether they’re traveling somewhere new, spending summer days on the water, or cheering on the Green Bay Packers and Iowa Hawkeyes in the fall.
Having grown up in Ankeny, Dr. Smith is proud to now care for the smiles of the community she has always called home.
